Premiere Pro 2022 PROBLEMS with Sony Footage- FIXED!!! So as most of you who use premiere pro get crashing from time to time. This is pretty common and quite annoying at times. How To Stop Premiere Pro From Crashing If Adobe Premiere Pro is crashing during your edits, there are several things you can do to help stop it from Crashing. Here is a list of 15 things to try if Adobe Premiere Pro crashes. You can get the latest version of Adobe Premiere Pro here: (affiliate link) 🤍 Delete Media Cache Do this on Premiere and do this manually outside of premiere Change Playback from GPU to software only Let it rebuild previews And delete previews (this will slow down the premiere) Reset Premiere Preferences Hold option/alt + shift when launching premiere. If you see the welcome screen, you did this right. Update Premiere Pro Revert back to another version of premiere using a creative cloud app Try closing all other applications Give Premiere More memory Edit off a solid-state/Flash drive if you can Check your hard drive to make sure you have plenty of empty space on it and it's not almost full Close other projects inside the premiere Remove any effects on your video and audio to see if any effect is causing this A lot of advanced effects like Wrap Stabilizer can cause the premiere to crash. You can try nesting the clip with a wrap stabilizer on it. Create a New Sequence and copy the content of the sequence over You can also try this with the entire project. Start a new project. And important sequences from the crashed project. Make Sure your computer meets the System Requirements.- Watch This Video. 🤍 💥 Step #2. Make sure you are not mixing frame rates. This will instantly cause issues. It may not cause Premiere Pro to crash on the spot but I guarantee it will the more you do it. 💥💥 PART 2: END SCREENS, LOWER THIRDS, INTROS, OUTROS,.... ALL HAVE THE SAME FRAME RATE AS YOUR SEQUENCE. 23.976fps IS NOT THE SAME AS 24fps and 29.97fps IS NOT THE SAME AS 30fps. THEY ARE DIFFERENT. THIS WILL CAUSES CRASH ISSUES IF YOU MIX THEM 💥 Step #3. PART (A). If you have less than 64g of Ram check your activity monitor to make sure you are not using all of your ram. You should always have 10g+ of spare ram at all times. 💥💥 PART (B.) Run a Disk Speed Test. Make Sure your hard drive read and write speed can handle to work. (AGAIN WATCH STEP ONE IF NEEDED) 💥 Step #4. Remove all Mogrt Files from Motion Graphics Template Folder. Premiere Pro. Remove them for now. Let's get your program running again. Once it's up and running for days without crashes. Add them back as needed. If it starts crashing again. You will no it was a corrupted mogrt files. 💥 Step #5 Remove all old versions of Premiere Pro. 💥 Step #6 Remove all Beta Versions of Premiere Pro. 💥 Step #7 Delete any old projects you no longer need. 💥 Step #8 Delete any files in your system, application, folder, that say Premiere Pro. 💥 Step #9 Delete all Media Cashed Files 💥 Step #10 Go onto Adobe Creative Cloud. Download the newest version of Premiere Pro. Currently, this is 14.8 2020. 💥 Step #11 Create a New Project. (a) Go Into Preferences Change Media Cashe Management - Delete Files Older than 7 days (b) Do not change any workspace layouts (just for now 2-3 days) (c) Do not add any Mogrt files (just for now - 2-3 days) (d) Add New Media - Make sure Frame Rates Match (e) Try to edit your first video. Keep notes when you change things, update the program, add mogrts. Try to do things you used to that would cause crashes. If Premiere Pro does not crash for 24hrs. I would say you are good to go. If you do not meet the system requirements. There is also a workaround for that. I am working on making a training tutorial on that as we speak. I'm hoping to have it done by Jan 25th. If your editing in Adobe Premiere Pro, you have probably at some point seen this symbol, known as the apple beach ball or the spinning wheel of death, if you will. But don’t freak out, you can still save your project and I’m going to show you how. First, click “cmd + spacebar” to open Spotlight on your mac and search for “activity monitor” (or “Task Manager” on PC) and open that program. Mac: Macintosh HD → Applications → Utilities → Activity Monitor PC: Start → Programs → Task Manager In that program, find Premiere Pro and check the PID number and remember that. This number can be different next time this happens, so go through this process every time Premiere Pro crashes. Now, click “cmd + spacebar” again, search for “Terminal” (or “Command Prompt” on PC) and open that program. Mac: Macintosh HD → Applications → Utilities → Terminal PC: Start → Programs → Accessories → Command Prompt In that program, write kill, space, dash, SEGV, space, dash, and then the PID number you just looked up and hit Enter. (kill -SEGV –0000) This should save your project and hopefully kill that beach ball. If something looks weird inside Premiere Pro now, just restart the Program. Hope you liked this video!
